In this role you will use your project management skills to lead a team focused on the delivery of a range of assigned Capital Works, Minor Works and Maintenance projects for Stanwell. You will provide technical project management advice and assistance in relation to projects and contracts being managed.Key ResponsibilitiesLead project planning and coordinationAdministering the Special Works Contracts to preserve and claim entitlementsMaintaining positive relationships with client and stakeholdersTrack and evaluate the performance of project teams and subcontractors to ensure quality and efficiencyPreparing and calculating progress claimsIdentifying and resolving performance issues promptlyPreparing and delivering reports on production costs and manage project budgetsOverseeing the procurement process for projectsReporting against project schedules and planning or forecasting for timely deliveryAccurately tracking, monitoring and reporting on project budgets, risks, milestones and documentationMaintaining Risks and Variation registersProviding monthly cost reporting such that each project is transparently forecasted to completion in terms of revenue, cost and riskCoordinating suppliers and managing material logisticsConducting site inspections and upholding HSEQ standardsAbout YouBachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalentMinimum of 10 years experience in a similar role in the mining and resources industry, preferably with exposure to pipe networks and systems and capital works constructionHold G1, G8, G9 and STD11 qualificationsThe successful candidate will have substantial knowledge and experience in building project and contract management, including assessing and managing human and financial resources, with broad knowledge and experience in procurement, contract conditions and interpretation of legislation.Working At BUMABUMA Australia is a people focused business, with a strong emphasis on safety, training, development and continuous improvement. The project uses a combination of dragline and truck-and shovel operations.
