Evolve FM offers a range of services including strategic portfolio management, financial management, contract management, maintenance management, and data analytics services.ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIESOverall RoleIn this role you will be primarily responsible for working with the Project Management Team to oversee the management, design, and construction of both fit out and services infrastructure upgrade and remediation projects. We provide an end-to-end project management service from inception through to completion. This would include managing all stages of project delivery including scope definition and analysis, design, tendering, property acquisition, construction, program of works, variations, handover and engaging and managing relationships with head contractors, designers, engineers, and other specialists.Major ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the design and delivery of construction projects across numerous sectors including federal and state governments, commercial, health, education, etc, specifically services infrastructure projects.Run project team meetings, build and maintain a diverse range of collaborative relationships with partnered design consultants, head contractors, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders.Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and lead the organisation on new projects in line with the business plan and strategic vision of Evolve FM.Coordinate and manage the design phases from concept, detailed design, tender documentation and construction documentation.Prepare Request for Tender documents and Scope of works to issue to consultants, suppliers and contractors.Identify strategic partnerships and actively engage with industry stakeholders and networks to identify emerging opportunities.Assist in preparing tender submissions and fee proposals.Budget and Cost management of projectsProgram management of projects.Manage Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) on the project(s) to meet and exceed HSE and welfare obligations and promote EVOLVE FM Safety First culture.Key Selection CriteriaIdeal ExperienceTertiary Qualifications in a construction specific related field or engineering services.Mechanical HVAC and electrical services, or construction management background specifically with mechanical and electrical services experience.A minimum of 5 years relevant project management experience including a proven track record of managing government projects.Strong technical skills in mechanical and electrical services and fit out projects.Understanding or experience in estimating and cost planningUnderstanding of security zoned requirementsDemonstrate a successful track record in developing and maintaining internal and external relationships.Strong technical skills in services design managementStrong technical skills and experience in contract documentation/administration, stakeholder management, reporting on cost and programme.Experience with Microsoft Project.Able to think strategically, innovatively and solve problems.Very good Excel, analytical and reporting skills (including commentary).Baseline clearance is desirable.Critical Competencies for SuccessExcellent communication and client presentation skillsStrong work ethic, career ambition and willingness to learnHave an excellent eye for detail and high standards of qualityContinuous improvement and change management mindsetStrong leadership skillsAbility to develop and maintain excellent relationships with current and new ClientsHave excellent influencing and presentation skillsBe self-directed, proactive, confident, and well organised while maintaining the management of project staff.Able to work in a dynamic environment.Other Personal CharacteristicsStrong communicator Good presentation skills and possesses strong verbal & written communication skills (English), also an active listener.Self-motivated; confident & energeticAbility to effectively deal with stressful situations.Flexible able to adapt to rapidly changing situations.Strongly goal-oriented able to focus on meeting all performance targets.Is a team player able to cooperate and work well with others to meet targets.Proven ability to initiate and follow through with improvement initiatives.Exhibits honesty & trustworthiness.Open to new ideas & willing to challenge status quo.QualificationsCommunication and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) skillsProject Management and Service Delivery skillsNegotiation skillsExperience in facilities management or related fieldKnowledge of government procurement processesAbility to work effectively in a team environmentRelevant project management certification (e.g. PMP) #J-18808-Ljbffr
