Job no: 903400Work type: Part timeLocation: Adelaide CBDCategories: Nursing/MidwiferyWomen''s and Children''s Health Network, Women''s and Babies Division, Womens Assessment Service, North Adelaide 5006Classification RN/M2C - Clinical Nurse/Midwife LV2 $87,416.00 to $110,497.00 + Superannuation and Salary Sacrifice BenefitsPart Time - Term Contract (temporary from 28 Jul 2025 to 26 Dec 2026)About the OpportunityWe currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Virtual Statewide Midwifery Intrapartum Support/Advice and Code Blue Midwifery team as a Clinical Nurse/Midwife or Clinical Midwife, where you will be responsible for:Deliver real-time virtual midwifery support and clinical advice to regional/rural midwives during afterhours periods.Coordinate emergency response to obstetric and neonatal emergencies within the Womens and Babies Division.Conduct case reviews to provide guidance and support to midwives in isolated settings.Collect, maintain, and analyse data to assess service effectiveness and identify areas for service improvement.Participate in audits and quality assurance processes to monitor outcomes and recommend service enhancements.Collaborate with the Womens Assessment Service team to ensure alignment with service protocols and best practices.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse/Midwife or Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.Effective communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.Ability to prioritise workload and meet set timelines, whilst working under minimal supervision.Registered Midwife with at least 3 years post registration experienceDemonstrated competence in the relevant area of midwiferyProficient with Electronic Medical Record (EMR)What WCHN Can Offer YouRelocation financial support may be negotiated, subject to eligibility.
