Sitting within the Finance team, youll be the connection between Accounts Admin and the CFO. Youll work on EOM, financial models, reporting frameworks, and forecasting tools that help us understand where we are, where were headed, and how we can get there more efficiently.Comfort with technology is key. Youll be expected to work with spreadsheets, interact with APIs and data pipelines, and support the integration of financial systems. Youll collaborate across teamsfrom Sales to Operationsto help track key metrics, trends, and surface insights that support strategic growth. Youll also work with our internal systems and tools, contributing to the automation and optimization of financial processes.RESPONSIBILITIESSupport Financial Planning & AnalysisAssist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses across departmentsAssist in maintaining dashboards and recurring financial reports to track KPIs and operational metrics, using tools such as Excel, Xero and Dashboard platforms.Help connect financial systems and data sources via APIs, ensuring smooth data flow between tools (e.g. accounting software, CRM, internal databases)Analyse trends and provide insights. Investigate fluctuations in performance and identify opportunities for improvement.Support Finance OperationsSupport the CFO with daily finance tasks including preparing reports, summarizing key metrics, and organizing financial data to streamline decision-making.Assist in managing department budgets by working with team leads to track spending, flag variances, and ensure budget discipline.Coordinate with Accounts/Admin to ensure transactions are coded correctly, reconciliations are up-to-date, and financial records are clean.Support EOM close activities, including reconciling key accounts, chasing outstanding items, and helping ensure P&L and Balance Sheet readiness.Handle internal finance queries-whether it''s clarifying spend, pulling reports, or helping teams understand their numbers.Assist with cash flow monitoring and forecasting, ensuring real-time visibility of incoming/outgoing funds.Conduct ad hoc analysis for different departments to support decisions around hiring, marketing spend, vendor costs, etc.Help maintain integrations and tools (e.g. Xero, CIN-7, Salesforce), ensuring data flows correctly between platforms.Continuously seek to improve systems and workflows between departmentsIdentify inefficiencies in financial processes and contribute to their automation or optimization.SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONSAttention to detail, a proactive mindset, and a genuine interest in how the business works25 years of experience in a finance, accounting, or analyst roleA degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar is preferred but if youve taken a different path and have the skills, were open to that tooYou are qualified or are studying toward CPA/CA, or similarYoure comfortable with core financial processes budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and enjoy connecting numbers to real decisionsYoure analytically strong, with attention to detail and curiosity about why things move the way they doYoure confident with Excel (pivot tables, formulas, maybe even Power Query) and comfortable picking up new tools (bonus points for Xero, Power BI, or similar)Bonus if youve worked with Xero, CIN-7, or dashboard toolsYou like working with people.
