This is a Perth-based corporate position with regular site travel across our mining operations.Reporting to the GM Technical Services, you will be responsible for providing strategic, long-term geotechnical guidance to both surface and underground operations. Youll mentor site-based geotechnical teams, engage with consultants on study work, and play a key role in governance, planning, and continuous improvement of geotechnical practices across our business.The Opportunity:Provide leadership and expert guidance on geotechnical issues across both open pit and underground operations.Support life-of-asset planning and operational design with timely, practical geotechnical advice.Mentor, coach, and develop site geotechnical engineers, building a strong functional capability across sites.Lead geotechnical input into Scoping, PFS, and DFS level studies and participate in peer reviews and due diligence.Work with consultants and third parties to ensure high-quality geotechnical deliverables for studies and projects.Review and enhance geotechnical systems, standards, and governance frameworks.Support risk identification and mitigation across the business through robust geotechnical analysis.Contribute to innovation and the adoption of new tools, technologies, and approaches in ground control and slope stability.Participate in technical forums and industry bodies as a representative of the companys geotechnical discipline.What you can expect from us:A caring, safety driven and supportive culture.A collaborative, professional environment where your insights are valued at all levels.A commitment to internal development, mentoring, and promotion from within.The opportunity to influence strategic planning, mine design, and business outcomes.Competitive remuneration package with flexible salary packaging options.Access to industry events, continuing education, and career growth.Our team lives by the ASPIRE Values Accountable.
