The Tractor Operators primary responsibility will be to operate tractors, implements and various farm machinery as required.Tractor Operator position available in Tully, Far North Queensland, for a family farming business that has been in operation for over 75 years - Mackays Group (THE TRUSTEE FOR GOLDEN BANANA SERVICES TRUST).There are 10 positions available.This position is classified as Level 4 under the Horticulture Award 2020. All positions have on job training andpotential for upskilling. The positions available are on Banana farms and the duties will include but are not limited to the following:- Safely operating tractors and attaching various farm implements to support farm activities.- Conducting essential pre-start checks to ensure machinery runs smoothly.- Performing routine maintenance on tractors and equipment to keep everything in top condition.- Applying chemical treatments and fertilisers- Reporting any machine or equipment faults directly to the Workshop Maintenance team.- Following and promoting Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) procedures.- Taking on ad-hoc tasks as directed by the Farm Manager.Start Date: Looking for employees to start from June 2025 for a minimum of 9 months #J-18808-Ljbffr
