The Team:On Ward 2A General Medicine we are a close-knit team. We are based at the Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH), our states largest acute centre, Level 2 A block. Ward 2A is an Acute Medical ward with a wide variety of patients. Its an exciting and rewarding place to work, featuring contemporary, evidence-informed practice that has people at the centre. Take a look at the Statement of Duties below for more details.Assistant in Nursing/Midwifery - The Assistant in Nursing (AIN) provides nursing care as delegated by the Registered Nurse (RN), and within the direction and supervision of the RN or Enrolled Nurse (EN), in accordance with the nursing care plan.This role may vary slightly depending on the area in which the AIN works.You will needDemonstrated knowledge and skills in patient/client care, with an ability to assist patients/clients to meet their personal care needs and perform activities of daily living as required.Ability to work as an effective team member in an acute care team environment.Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills, including written, verbal and numeracy skills.Note: - Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application.Details of appointment:Permanent, part time, shift worker position, workingup to 64 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.Salary:$64,985 to $71,008 per annum(Pro rata).
