We currently employ over 2,000 personnel across various operations in our active market.Base award hourly rate for this role is $24.98 plus casual loading ($31.22 per hour Mon-Fri).About the roleWe are seeking Casual (On-call) Catering Assistants to join the kitchen team in our client''s aged care facility located in Minto, NSW.Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 2.00pm till 7.00pmTuesday from 3.15 till 7.30.* The successful applicant must have received at least 2 doses of the COVID-19 Vaccine and provide a current Policecheck or be willing to apply for one. *Skills and experienceAged Care experience is desirable, but not necessary.Ability to cook simple breakfast.Reliable and punctualAbility to multi-task and perform work within deadlines.Empathy and respect towards aged care residents, staff and clients.The ability to support the chefs and the team in a busy kitchen.Key ResponsibilitiesMeal preparation according to the menuProviding meal service to elderly residentsCleaning of kitchen, serveries and dining room set up.Adhering to and completing quality assurance documentsWashing dishes and plating of mealsPreparing salads and sandwiches in the main kitchenFunction set up and clear down.Assist the Chef and Chef Manager as required in day-to-day tasks.Food and beverage serviceBenefits and perksThe successful applicant will be offered a competitive hourly rate plus penalty loadings as per Hospitality Award.
