The team will work with caregivers experiencing significant mental health challenges, and other parental stressors (e.g. substance use, DV, trauma, etc), who are pregnant or caring for a child up to age 5. Up to $9K for living expenses and $2.6K meal & entertainment & Novated Leasing.Discounted gym memberships with a Fitness PassportEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) for employees and family members.Discounted Private Health Insurance.Opportunity to apply for Continuing Education allowance based on tertiary qualifications attained where applicable (Nursing only).Selection CriteriaQualifications in accordance with Schedule C of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award. for social work (eligible member of AASW), and occupational therapy (with current AHPRA registration), or registered nurse (with current AHPRA registration) at least 5 years full time equivalent post registration experience, and in addition who has approved post registration nursing qualifications relevant to the field, or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate by the public hospital or public health organisation or Psychologist with a recognised 4 year degree in Psychology (with current registration with AHPRA) and at least 8 years post full registration experience.Extensive post graduate clinical experience in mental health, and previous experience in working with families of infants/children in which parents are experiencing severe and complex psychosocial and psychiatric problems and demonstrated knowledge of the impact of mental health problems and mental illness on parenting, parent-infant/child relationships and infant/child development.Excellent negotiation, decision making and advocacy skills including the ability to interact constructively and collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders, throughout all organisational levels.Demonstrated ability to provide high level clinical advice, and development of education tools or programs to support others in providing service excellence.Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and to apply advanced reasoning skills and independent professional judgement when dealing with situations of a novel, complex or critical nature.Demonstrated ability to initiate, lead, complete and share quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes.Demonstrated experience in providing advice to managers on clinical service development, practice change and service redesign.Current unrestricted NSW drivers licence and willingness to travel.Need more information?Click here for the Position Description and SESLHD Expected StandardsFind out more about applying for this positionOur CORE Values are Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment and have been created by employees for employees and help define how we work and to inspire positive interactions in the workplace.Reasonable AdjustmentsNSW Health recognises everyone is unique, and that you may require some adjustments to ensure you have the best opportunity to apply.
