You will be expected to provide insightful information by analysing and expectations to the management team, implementing processes and tracking the status of projects.You will be responsible forFinance Transformation:Work closely with Group Finance and the business in leading finance inputs into key group projects focussing on reporting enhancements; consolidation, technical accounting and policy process and controls documentationProject management the finance inputs and requirements in key group projectsProvide financial direction support and assist in the coordination on finance transformation strategies/initiativesProvide strong business partnering and drive effective communication with key stakeholders before, during and after each reporting milestoneBring new thinking and ways of doing things to the function, including analysing and pushing new metrics and performance indicators; documenting golden process policys and technical policiesEnsure adherence to policies and procedures, best practices; identify and implement areas of improvementsProvide insightful information and expectations to management to aid in long-term and short-term decision makingPositively impact the organization through a strong focus on continuous improvementProject Management:Manage projects by:Setting up, develop and maintaining a detailed understanding of the project by chartering scope, objectives, planning, status, key issues, and interdependenciesBeing responsible for all touchpoints pertaining to the project, including project communications and stakeholder managementDrive results by working across several countries and functional teamsUse standard approaches to solve issues and enforce project disciplineResolve conflicts in any aspect of project work and process changesProvide feedback to improve project management processCoach and mentor team members where necessaryFor you to be successfulwe expect you to be able to demonstrate the following key competencies:CommunicationEffective and articulate communicator actively and respectfully listens to and synthesizes others perspectivesKeeps relevant people accurately informed and up-to-date of both positive and potentially negative informationConcise in communicating and references relevant information tailored to the audience to support pointsAdaptableLooks to understand bigger picture rationale for changes and adapts in a flexible and nimble mannerFlexible in successfully juggling multiple requirements, ambiguity and competing demands.
