And youll be equally comfortable engaging with external stakeholders, including the media.With great plans, big things happening, and an exciting program of initiatives to help deliver safe, secure and sustainable water over the next 50 years, youll be an advocate and chief storyteller for our business, continually evolving and sharing our story, and evaluating the success of how we do it.In return, youll be part of a great team doing work that makes a real difference - and thats a good feeling.Key Responsibilities:As our Communications & Engagement Officer, youll be accountable for:Delivery of the media relations program, including responding to enquiries, preparing media releases and developing as appropriate, subsequent digital communications.Developing easy-to-read, accurate, timely and relevant written material for all types of purposes including engagement, campaigns, publications and online. Coordinate corporate advertising, including campaigns and non-campaign advertising (e.g. tenders, public notices)., implementing and evaluating communications and engagement plans that align with Coliban Waters vision and purpose.Working collaboratively with members of the Engagement and Events team on development of communications and engagement activities to ensure messages to our customers and stakeholders align.About you:The ability to perform a variety of tasks to deliver an effective corporate communications and engagement program. This includes being able to respond and adapt to changing priorities and operational demands with minimal notice.Highly developed communications and engagement skills with the ability to build effective and professional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Proven experience in media relations and issues management and coordination of a proactive media agenda, using traditional and digital channels.Some relevant experience in communications and engagement together with qualifications acquired through a tertiary degree in communications or engagement.Sound like you?
