This critical role is responsible for ensuring a safe and compliant working environment for our team and clients, particularly within complex, high-risk settings. As an OHS Coordinator, you will help us lead and implement safety practices that prevent risks and keep everyone safe while working on a variety of energy infrastructure projects.Location: Laverton North, VICReports to: Business Unit General ManagerWhats In It for You:Competitive salary package with ongoing career progression opportunities.Employee benefits including access to the Vinci employee share program, wellness programs, and professional development opportunities.Flexible working conditions to maintain a healthy work-life balance.Comprehensive training and support to develop your skills and advance your career.All PPE provided and a safe, supportive working environment.Free onsite car parking and additional perks to enhance your work experience.Your Role & Key Responsibilities:As an OHS Coordinator, you will:Lead the HSE practices across multiple business units, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.Identify, manage, and communicate operational risks while ensuring compliance with regulatory and client safety requirements.Support Business Unit Managers in handling safety incidents and conducting HSE investigations, implementing lessons learned, and actioning safety alerts.Coordinate HSE audits and ensure our systems align with both industry standards and regulatory requirements.Work on-site regularly, engaging with teams to support safety initiatives and reduce risks in high-hazard environments.Encourage innovation in safety measures to help mitigate risks and improve safety across the business.Who Were Looking For:Were looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and has a passion for promoting a safety-first culture.To be successful, you will have:2-5 years of experience in OHS or a similar safety-related role, ideally in industries such as construction, energy, or heavy industry.A Bachelors degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teams at all levels.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HSE software, with the ability to quickly adapt to new tools.A current Drivers License, and a willingness to travel to project sites as needed.A commitment to safety and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing risks.Why Omexom?At Omexom, we provide a dynamic, inclusive environment where your skills and contributions truly matter.
