Minara Resources has an opportunity for a Crane & Rigging Coordinator to join our established and dedicated shutdown team.Minara Resources is Australias largest cobalt producer and a major world producer of nickel. Our Murrin Murrin site in WAs northern Goldfields is an integrated nickel and cobalt mining and processing operation employing over 1,000 people. Glencore employs over 145,000 people and operates around 150 mining and processing sites, oil production assets, and agricultural facilities in over 35 countries.The RoleThis is a permanent position where you will manage and direct the activities of the central maintenance groups specializing in crane and rigging activities onsite, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations to safely meet production requirements.You will be responsible for:Assisting with planning and preparation prior to executionAllocating daily work priorities across disciplines, ensuring safetyReporting on activity completion against targetsAllocating manpower for tasks to ensure safety and efficiencyConducting audit and compliance activities for onsite crane operationsCommunicating operational information with leadership and preparation teamsDeveloping and managing documentation for maintenance plansEnsuring equipment spares are suitable and available through close liaison with maintenance planners and schedulersIdentifying competence requirements for work tasksMeasuring team performance, enforcing discipline, and motivating employeesAbout YouThis role suits an adaptable problem solver with strong technical knowledge, leadership, and effective communication skills, with a focus on safety and efficiency.You will also have:Qualifications/licenses in Rigging, Scaffolding, and Crane Operating, with at least 5 years experienceA Western Australian C-Class manual drivers licenseRelevant experience working with maintenance and plant shutdowns of fixed plant machineryProven leadership in a customer-focused environmentExperience managing costs and budgetsGood computer skills, including using management systems, spreadsheets, and presentation applicationsHigh experience with computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS), with knowledge of Oracle preferredWhat We OfferWe provide opportunities across our mining operations and complex processing plants.
