Join our team in Liverpool for a temporary part-time role until December 2025 or in Ingleburn for a temporary full-time position until October 2025.Seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical psychologist to provide expert psychological and psychosocial assessment, diagnosis, interventions, and consultation for individuals experiencing complex mental health challenges. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to clinical outcome evaluations, education, and training programs while supervising psychologists and other health professionals within the LHD.We specialize in child and family health, offering expert support in developmental assessments, early intervention, and family-centered therapeutic approaches to strengthen relationships and improve overall well-being.Our team delivers high-quality clinical interventions, including general and specialist assessments, evidence-based treatments, and comprehensive reporting. We work collaboratively with consumers, families, and support networks to provide advocacy, education, and skills training.Don''t miss this opportunity to contribute to a compassionate and dynamic team and make a difference in the lives of children, families, and the broader community.What You''ll Be DoingTo deliver specialist psychological and psychosocial assessment, diagnosis, interventions and consultation in order to address the needs of consumers who are living with complex mental health problems and disorders.The role also participates in the evaluation of clinical outcomes of services and assists in the development and provision of education and training programs. Additionally, the role supervises Psychologists and other disciplines working within the LHD according to organisational needs.Where You''ll Be WorkingSWSLHD Primary & Community Health provides a comprehensive range of community-based services designed to improve and maintain the health and wellbeing of individuals and communities across South Western Sydney.These services include prevention, early intervention, assessment, acute and post-acute treatment, health maintenance, and continuing care. Completion of an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council accredited postgraduate Clinical Psychology qualification of no less than two years full time duration or recognised equivalent.Demonstrated competence in a wide range of psychological assessments and evidence based psychological treatments delivered on an individual and/or group basisDemonstrated experience working independently in the provision of patient/consumer-focused care.Demonstrated knowledge of the quality improvement process for service development, implementation and evaluation.Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to accomplish service goals and improved patient and/or consumer care and outcomes.Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit the target audience.Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver''s license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment.
