In November 2024, we also achieved Bronze Tier Status in the Australian Workplace Equality Index (AWEI) through Pride in DiversityWe are a 2025 Circle Back Initiative employer and commit to respond to every applicant.Engage with Heart - Impact with Purpose.Uniting Country SA - Caring for Country Peopleucsa.org.auDescription:About The PositionLocation: Coober PedyStatus: Contract to 30th June 2026 - Full TimeClosing Date for Applications: 30th June 2025The Coober Pedy Homelessness and Domestic and Aboriginal Family Violence Service provides support to people who are at risk of, or are experiencing, homelessness, domestic or Aboriginal family violence.Working independently and as part of a team, you will provide tailored support to clients through the provision of professional high-quality case management, advocacy and counselling.Please view the Position Description for further information on the duties and responsibilities of the role.Skills and Experiences:You will:Have good communication skills.Be flexible and a team player.Have experience or willing to learn case management.Have empathy for people that are experiencing homelessness or domestic or family violence.It is essential for you to have:Current Australian Drivers Licence.A willingness to participate in the after hours on-call 24-hour duty roster.Relevant experience in a Community Services related positions, in a paid or voluntary capacity.Interested in undertaking Certificate IV (or above) in a Human Services related field.
