Guidance, practice tips, legislation, cases, checklists, tools, precedents and latest legal updates are all in one place and in the context of a lawyers workflow.About The RoleAs a Legal Content Manager and heading up a practice group for Practical Guidance Australia, you will drive the continuous improvement and commercial success of a suite of Practical Guidance modules. You will help set the content strategy for your portfolio and manage a team of Legal Writers preparing and maintaining practically-focused content as well as work with external specialist authors. You will also provide support to our in-market teams to help build brand awareness and influence market share across clients and stakeholders.This role would suit someone looking for full-time but might also suit someone interested in 4.5 days per week. Regular in-office time is preferable, either Sydney or Melbourne-based, but there is also opportunity to work flexibly and from home. With strong experience as a practising lawyer and leading teams, you will have a solid understanding of the practical processes relevant to legal teams and corporate professionals.ResponsibilitiesDeveloping practice group content roadmap driven by commercial strategy and market needSupporting financial success through new content development and budget managementLeading and developing a team of engaged and innovative legal writersManaging internal and external stakeholders, staying close to customer needs, and addressing legal trendsRequirements3+ years PQEExperience in an Australian legal practice roleExperience in team leadership and people managementExcellent communication and plain-English writing skillsAptitude for building and fostering relationships with a range of diverse clients and local and international stakeholdersExcellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skillsExperience in Corporate, Banking & Financial Services, M&A or Insolvency & Restructuring areas of law is desirableWork in a way that works for youWe promote a healthy work/life balance across the organisation.
