We specialise in the renewable energy sector, excelling in the design, construction, commissioning, and maintenance of high-voltage infrastructure, including transmission substations, wind farms, solar farms, and battery storage systems.With over 650 employees and offices in Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, CPP are preferred partners with Australias major transmission network providers and we are rapidly growing to play a significant role in connecting Australias energy future.The pipeline of work is secured, join us as we help to deliver Australias renewable future.The OpportunityCPP are seeking a Contracts Advisor ready to join our growing in-house team, which already boasts over a dozen experienced Lawyers, Contract Advisors and Contract Administrators.Collaborating with Project Managers, you will work on the largest renewables projects in the industry, providing guidance on key contractual provisions, assist in managing contractual risks and ensure compliance with contractual timeframes and mechanisms. Bringing your exceptional written and verbal communication skills, you will lead the preparation and submission of correspondence, notices and claims to CPPs clients.You will join a national Commercial & Legal team in a supportive environment where you will have access to a wide network of resources to support your development and growth. This is an exciting and rare opportunity to join an industry leader and be part of Australias renewable energy future!About YouDesired Skills and ExperienceTo Be Successful In This Role, You Will Possess4+ years relevant experience, working in either Construction, Utilities, Energy, or a similar project based environmentEssential: experience with upstream and downstream negotiations, with the ability to formulate and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliersEssential: ability to understand design and construction contractsDesirable: experience working with in-house legal teamExceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work with various stakeholdersHigh-level contract administration, negotiation and influencing skillsAlthough not essential, qualifications in either Law, Construction Management, Business Management, or Project Management will be highly regardedWhy Join Us?At CPP our people are our most important asset.
