In this role, youll be responsible for carrying out aircraft maintenance in a safe, efficient, and compliant manner, ensuring all work meets Jetstars high standards for safety, quality, and reliability.Youll work closely with a range of specialist teams, contributing to a strong engineering culture focused on operational excellence. This role is perfect for someone whos detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-moving and sometimes unpredictable environment, and takes pride in delivering work to the highest standard.If you''re someone who thinks logically, stays organised under pressure, and is ready to make a real impact in a collaborative team environment wed love to hear from you.Were on the hunt for someone who:Is an experienced B1 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer with a sound knowledge of the Civil Aviation Regulations Hold a CASA Part 66 licence with B1 Unrestricted Type Rating for A320 (mandatory)B787 and 717 is desirable however not mandatory.Have excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills supported with the ability to assess and interpret options and develop solutions for the line environmentHave proven experience working in a line maintenance environment.Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate across all levelsPossess a strong working knowledge of, and demonstrated experience in being actively involved in SMS activities (such as fatigue management, workplace inspections, reporting, etc)Have achieved a minimum satisfactory performance rating during the last 12 monthsHave the ability to work a rotating shift pattern as required by business needsOffer proven and demonstrated ability to manage a team as well as actively delegate and provide feedback on work tasksHave a thorough working knowledge and experience with TRAX (or similar), Airbus manuals and Microsoft OfficeBe able to hold a valid AUS ASIC and ADAPlease note: applications will only be considered for candidates who have the right to work in Australia / New Zealand without restriction or sponsorship.Your life at Jetstar is unlike any other Put the craft in aircraft: Theres a new fleet of A321LR NEOs waiting for your arrival.
