Support and coordinate key initiatives across the first 90 days, compliance training, and leadership development.About This RoleLearning & Development OfficerWe are seeking a Learning & Development Officer to deliver engaging learning experiences with a focus on onboarding, digital learning, and improving learning systems. Support and coordinate key initiatives across the first 90 days, compliance training, and leadership development.Key Responsibilites -Lead And Manage Onboarding ExperienceCoordinate and facilitate fortnightly New Starter Welcome Days (NSW, VIC, QLD)Oversee onboarding logistics, pre-learning compliance, and stakeholder engagementEnsure alignment with Fair Work and Early Years Learning frameworksReview and refine onboarding materials and digital contentOversee L&D administration and logisticsManage learning calendar, training sessions, room bookings, and materialsTrack attendance, update LMS records, and manage feedback/reportingDrive Digital Learning ExperienceEnhance use of LMS and create engaging digital learning contentAdminister LMS (user setup, content management, system settings)Support system and process improvementsImprove onboarding/offboarding processes and digital HR systemsContribute to continuous learning and employee journey designContribute to L&D strategy and initiativesSupport annual L&OD plans and contribute to strategic planningAssist with major L&D events (e.g. Leaders Conference, OAC LEAD sessions)Qualifications & Experience -Bachelor''s degree in Education, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field is desirable (not essential)Experience in delivering, and evaluating impactful training programs or learning initiatives.Experience with onboarding / first 90 days success learning pathways and contentUnderstanding of adult learning principles and proficiency in instructional design methodologies.Experience in an early childhood education environment is a plusBenefits, Wellbeing, Recognition & Career DevelopmentMake an impact in the Early Childhood sectorWorking with passionate Early childhood advocatesInternal development opportunities available for OAC employees.50% discount for employee childcare feeAbove award salary and annual reviewVouchers to recognise and celebrate your hard workTwo Wellbeing Days'' and option to purchase up to two weeks additional annual leaveEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) for ongoing mental health and wellbeing supportRetail Discount Program including discounted online and instore vouchers and over 500 online cashback offersWhy Only About Children?Only About Children are owned by a reputable Early childhood provider called Bright Horizons so you will be joining an organisation with a global footprint and opportunities for you to work in the US and UK!
