This is a teaching position under the Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2022. The successful applicant will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children.Experienced teachers are welcome to apply.Information about our wonderful school community can be found on our school website: shoakleigh.catholic.edu.auThe remuneration for the position is within the range of $79,589 and $118,063 per annum, depending on experience in accordance with the Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise agreement 2022 (CEMEA 2022) Teacher Scale.Position RequirementsThe successful applicant will possess the skills and abilities necessary to provide students with a rich and rewarding educational experience and will embrace a collegial, team-based approach to teaching and learning. They will have a deep understanding of assessments and the analysis of these. They will lead staff in writing PLPs with SMART goals and in keeping required documentation records for NCCD. The successful candidate will be appropriately qualified, demonstrate enthusiasm and the ability to lead staff in supporting and extending students, working collaboratively with the leadership team. They will work collaboratively with MACS and allied health professionals as required. They will be able to provide care and support for students whilst supporting and respecting the ethos of the school and its environment. The successful applicant will hold Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration and undergo a National Police Record check. Teacher qualifications (4-year trained minimum) and Accreditation to teach RE in a Catholic school is preferred.
