If you are seeking to drive your ambition and shift gear into the fast lane, we want to hear from you!About the RoleThe Claims Coordinator Technical & Warranty performs a key role in assessing and processing service claims, goodwill requests, and dealer submissions using expert technical knowledge. The role combines technical evaluation with decision making that ensures compliance with warranty policies, company standards, legal requirements, and cost efficiency.This position reviews dealer analysis, diagnostic reports, repair recommendations and methods, ensuring thorough documentation of the decision process. You will act as a trusted advisor to dealers and regional staff, providing support, guidance, and training to help them navigate warranty requirements and deliver effective repair solutions.Core ResponsibilitiesReview and adjudicate service claim authorisations, goodwill requests and dealer-submitted claims, ensuring they meet company requirements and Australian Consumer LawCollaborate with regional offices, dealers, and internal teams to resolve claim-related enquiries, and provide guidance on policy complianceAdhere to MMAL policies and procedures, maintaining thorough documentation to support legal requirementsConduct technical evaluation of claims, monitor factory recalls and technical bulletins, and assess the impact of technical support requests on warranty adjudicationsContribute to the enhancement of warranty systems and processes by identifying inefficiencies and recommending improvementsEssential Skills and ExperienceDemonstrated technical expertise with a minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience, including a strong understanding of warranty standards, procedures, and dealer service/workshop operationsComprehensive product and technical knowledge, with the ability to assess and adjudicate warranty claims while ensuring compliance with ACL requirements and OEM obligationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with sound judgment and the ability to evaluate and challenge information to support informed decision-makingProven organisational and time management abilities, with strong attention to detail and the capacity to adhere to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environmentEffective communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with internal teams and external partners to support warranty processes and resolutionsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with ASA/CAPS (Parts) and SAP systems to support warranty administration and claims processingWe want you to join MMAL and build your career with us you will enjoy a range of perks and discounts on products and services from both us and our partners, including:Access to our unique Employee Car Benefit Plan access up to four brand-new vehicles at an affordable rate!Opportunity to purchase brand new vehicles at a discounted price, including for families and friendsJoin MiDeal our employee benefits platform that gives you access to savings and special offers from over 500 different retailersCompetitive salary packageEmployee assistance and wellbeing programsFree on-site car parkingVolunteer Leave, to support the causes that you are passionate aboutCorporate Health Cover with Medibank access a 7% discount on private health insuranceCultureHere at MMAL we offer a dynamic and innovative workplace culture.
