So this is a unique career opportunity to be part of our epic growth story.The opportunityAssists the Warehouse Manager by ensuring the team is focussed on their tasks and meeting KPI. You will lead by example and ensure all tasks are performed to the highest standards. As the Supervisor you will coach and mentor team members, helping them operate efficiently, safely and to targets. Creating a positive environment of continuous improvement is something you will strive for everyday.What Youll Be DoingAssist the Warehouse Manager with rostering and allocation of team duties in line with budget constraints.Drive the Inbound team to meet business KPIs, identify and call out shortfalls in rostering and capacity.Maintain a safe environment at all times. This is demonstrated by identifying, assessing and mitigating workplace hazards, creating a secure and compliant environment for all employees.Ensure all staff are inducted and compliant with all WHS and company policies as well as any legislative requirements.Understanding business cost targets, and utilising resources to meet those targets along with KPIs.Ongoing coaching of staff and team leads to ensure theyre effective and promoting a positive and safe culture.Processing start of Day and/or End of Day operations in tandem with the Outbound Supervisor.Liaise with counterparts across departments to ensure smooth flow of operations, including Nightshift, Fleet and Outbound.Regular toolboxes with the Receiving, Putaway and Replenishment teams.Providing exceptional customer experience by ensuring we provide timely service and delivery to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.Leading the Receiving, Putaway and Replenishment teams.Log and report all MHE issues with vendors and ensure they are repaired in a timely manner to avoid downtime.Ensuring staff are following procedure, and provide timely and accurate reporting.Maintain Pet Circle WHS standards and Chain of Responsibility (CoR).Ensure the Inbound team is operating efficiently, keeping housekeeping standards high and free of hazards.Ensure End of Day handover reports are completed.Identify areas of inefficiency and potential service improvements.Assist in the Performance management of all employees against their respective KPIs.Other ad hoc duties as requested by the Warehouse ManagerThe ideal toolboxExperience in a similar role in a fast-paced warehouse environmentProven ability to work collaboratively with individuals and in cross-functional teamsThe ability to keep your finger on the pulse by supervising your team over a large work space, and always monitoring team''s performanceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsSafety focused with general knowledge of WHS policies and proceduresHigh attention to detail and confidence to execute decisionsCan do attitude, reliability, commitment and a strong work ethicAbility to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environmentForklift License desirableRole locationThis role is based in our Warehouse located in Bibra Lake, WA.Juicy perksGenerous employee discountProduct sample giveawaysRegular team events, including BBQs and lunchesCharity volunteer daysWhy Join?We Reckon Our Mission To Help The World Pet Better Is An Important One, But Also An Incredibly Fun And Rewarding One.
