We pride ourselves on our collaborative, responsive approach and are focused on continuous improvement and client satisfaction.About The RoleWe are currently seeking an experienced and physically capable Emergency Services Trainer to join our team on a part-time or contract basis in a FIFO (Fly-In-Fly-Out) capacity. This crucial role delivers and assesses emergency response training programs for mining personnel, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.Working FIFO to client sites (including remote and underground locations), you will lead both classroom and field-based sessions, including simulated emergency scenarios. This role is key to supporting safety, capability, and compliance across mine sites.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver accredited emergency response and rescue training programs in line with national and state requirementsFacilitate simulated training scenarios including fires, entrapments, hazardous materials, and medical emergenciesAssess participants against competency standards and issue certificationsMaintain accurate records and support trainee improvement plansOperate, inspect, and maintain rescue and breathing apparatus equipmentParticipate in site drills, audits, and emergency response reviewsProvide safety guidance and promote a culture of continuous improvementTravel on a FIFO basis to client mine sites (surface and underground)Qualifications and Experience:Essential:Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent)Current First Aid and CPR (advanced responder preferred)Proven experience in surface or underground mining environmentsOperational or supervisory experience in Mines RescueDesirable:Firefighting, HAZMAT, confined space, vertical or underground rescue qualificationsExperience with training management systems and complianceExposure to vehicle extrication or defensive driving trainingKey Skills:Sound knowledge of emergency response procedures and legislationStrong facilitation and communication skillsHigh physical fitness to actively participate in demanding rescue scenariosAbility to work in both classroom and high-risk site environmentsStrong organisational skills and attention to detailWillingness and ability to work FIFO to remote locationsWhy Join Us?At Baseline Onsite, youll join a team thats passionate about training and safety.
