Join to apply for the Commis Chef/ Cook Casual role at Panthers Group Port Macquarie Panthers are seeking an enthusiastic Commis Chef or cook with excellent attention to detail to join their kitchen team on a casual basis. We have an opportunity for an energetic team player to join the Panthers Port Macquarie Kitchen team either as a Commis Chef or experienced Cook. Your contribution is vital to the successful operation of the kitchen. You will enjoy working in an energetic team that prides itself on presenting quality food to customers. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and work efficiently and proactively. Main Duties and Responsibilities include: Food preparation, presentation, and service to members and guests Catering for functions and events Stock management, including stock takes and recording wastage Accepting food deliveries, checking stock, and ensuring safe storage Cleaning duties within the kitchen to maintain cleanliness and presentation Practicing compliant food health and safety, including safe storage and FIFO principles To be successful in this role, you will possess: At least 2-3 years experience in a busy kitchen environment Commercial Cookery Trade Qualification Previous experience in function catering Excellent communication skills Strong attention to detail Good physical fitness for lifting and carrying items A positive attitude and ability to work under pressure Strong commitment to customers and team Passion and enthusiasm for delivering quality food service Applicants should be punctual, reliable, and flexible, available to work nights, weekends, and public holidays.
