You''re ready to step into a pivotal role within our Planning, Integration and Passenger division, where the voice of the customer drives every decision.Join a team thats not just planning for tomorrow, but actively building it, through bold thinking, integrated solutions, and a commitment to delivering real, lasting impact for people and places across the state.In this role youllReport to the Transport for NSW (TfNSW) Chief Transport Planner and act as a contributor within the newly formed Transport Planning Branch Leadership Team.Provide executive leadership in developing and implementing integrated transport and land use strategies that support economic growth, sustainability, and housing delivery across NSW.Represent TfNSW in whole-of-government forums, acting as the primary liaison with Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure (DPHI), Infrastructure NSW, and other agencies to align infrastructure planning and investment.Lead a team of people leaders, overseeing a workforce of approximately 50 employees, who serve as the front door to TfNSW for planning system stakeholders, managing technical advice, concurrences, referrals, and developer agreements.Drive Strategic Planning and Assessment by overseeing the negotiation and evaluation of complex land use and development proposals, ensuring alignment with transport priorities and corridor preservation.Champion cross-sector collaboration, co-design of strategic plans, and the use of data, analytics, and modelling to ensure infrastructure integration and alignment with long-term economic and housing priorities.Provide leadership in the creation and application of strategic planning tools, technical guidelines, and consistent assessment frameworks.Recruit and lead a high-performing, multidisciplinary team, cultivating a culture of innovation, inclusion, and customer-focused outcomes.This is an ongoing Transport Senior Service Executive (2A) role.
