When our business turns to us for innovation, youll be the bridge between possibility and realitytaking insights from our Business Analyst and crafting them with our delivery panel into powerful, scalable solutions that align with our technology ecosystem. This role is a critical piece in our Asset Management product stream, an essential part of the evolving electricity industryas we lead the transformation toward a more sustainable and resilient energy grid. Your Role in ActionLead with purpose by upholding architecture standards and patterns, and actively contributing to the Architecture Review Board to ensure quality and consistency across all solutions.Forge strong relationships with business stakeholders and external partners to co-design effective, future-ready solutions to complex operational challenges.Collaborate with Cyber Security, Technology, and Data Services teams to ensure secure, integrated, and aligned solution outcomes.Transform business needs into high-level and detailed designs that balance innovation with practicality, delivering long-term value across Western Powers investments.Craft clear, actionable documentation to guide internal and external development teams, while identifying interdependencies and providing hands-on design support through to implementation.Be a key problem-solver, stepping in to remove roadblocks, guide remediation, and ensure smooth solution delivery.Influence big decisions by contributing to business cases, participating in tender evaluations, and offering expert guidance to shape wise technology investments.Champion continuous improvement, using human-centred design and innovation to evolve architecture practices and deliver technology that truly empowers our people.What Makes You a Great FitProven experience in solution, business, project, or data architecture within complex enterprise environments.Expertise in application solution architecture, with broad knowledge spanning multiple domains we are looking for a well-rounded generalist capable of operating across diverse technical areas.Strong background designing solutions across large-scale, multi-application, and diverse infrastructure landscapes.Skilled in collaborating with and managing external partners to deliver robust, integrated solutions.In-depth knowledge of architecture principles, frameworks, and reusable design patterns.Solid grasp of enterprise strategy, IT architecture, and service delivery models.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences.Adept at translating business challenges into clear, actionable architectural solutions.By joining Western Power, you will contribute to powering a cleaner energy future.
