We work on a national road and rail network with custom services in sea freight and air transportation and focus on delivering great service to our customers.Currently we are hunting for a Sales Development Representative for our Packaging Division to be based in Perth.About this roleWe are looking to provide the right candidate a career in sales and to be part of the Sadleirs team. You will be technically trained on all the products we supply as well as given guidance on process and customer interaction.The primary role of this position is to provide you a career in sales with Sadleirs. You will be responsible for driving sales within a current sales area and developing new business sales opportunities for the full range of our packaging products.You will proactively create new opportunities and achieve sales targets. A strong focus will be on identifying, developing and managing relationships and business growth opportunities, while managing existing customers.As part of the sales team, you will play a key role in the development and implementation of our business development plan and providing input into strategic business growth and improvement decisions.Key Duties will includeDevelop relationships with current customersCold calling to develop new opportunitiesDevelop knowledge through training, on our range of products and servicesDevelop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve or exceed revenue and profitability targetsConduct thorough market analysis to identify new business opportunities and customer segmentsBuild and maintain strong relationships with customers at all levels, fostering a diverse and inclusive customer baseCollaborate cross-functionally with teams to develop and implement effective sales strategiesProvide accurate sales forecasting and reporting to support business decision-makingAttend industry trade and consumer events along with networking opportunities and other relevant meetings/seminarsActively participate as a member of the Sales Team to ensure Business Plans are achieved and communication is strongSkills, licences & experience required:Well-developed interpersonal skillsCommercial acumenSelf-starter, motivated to succeedWilling to learn new concepts and skillsExcellent negotiation and relationship-building capabilitiesStrong teamwork and excellent communication skillsAbility to develop and build collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholdersThe ability to work autonomously and unsupervisedWhat Sadleirs Offers YouJoin a company where youre not just another number youll be respected, feel valued and be supported by a team who looks out for each other.
