Building on its proud heritage of caring for the Veteran community, the hospital now services the local communities of Concord, Strathfield, Burwood and beyond.The Central Bookings Officer is required to carry out a variety of administrative duties in accordance with the waiting list/elective surgery management process. The position requires a high level of negotiation skills to liaise with clinical, non-clinical support staff and the general public to ensure patients are admitted within their clinical recommended timeframes.For more information, please view the Position Description.Ideal CandidateAn understanding and an interest in providing a high standard of customer service.Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks, meet strict deadlines and work under pressure.Previous experience in the scheduling of surgical and diagnostic procedures.Ability to gain knowledge of MOH Waiting Time and Elective Patient Management Policy and Apply.Full Time Monday to Friday, Shift times rotate through a start time of 6.30am - 8.30am.Benefits and Perks!Accrued Day Off each month, paid Parental Leave & Annual Leave loading.Opportunity for extra tax savings through Salary Packaging and Novated Leasing.
