This role is critical to the delivery a key telecommunication fibre infrastructure project across SA, WA and VIC.In this role you''ll be responsible for:Inspecting and installing optical fibre cable and connectorsTesting and commissioning live fibre networksSplicing and terminating optical fibre cableReading and understanding cable plans and designsFault finding and design variationsSome experience in installation of equipment and cabinets would be an advantageProven commitment to promoting safety, quality and environment compliance on site.How you''ll connect to the role:Experience working as an Optical Fibre Technician on a major telecommunications network (Optus, Telstra, NBN etc)Previous Telstra experience will be an advantageACMA Open Cable Registration with Fibre endorsements is essentialCurrent Australian Drivers Licence and White CardAbility to work in regional areas as requiredAdopting and driving Fulton Hogan''s Living Safely Culture 2.0.Want to be rewarded for the good work you do?
