Youll manage complex scheduling, travel, board coordination and high-level communications across a wide range of stakeholders including internal teams, industry partners, government, major donors and our National Board. Youll also take ownership of Board and sub-committee administration, ensuring compliance and safeguarding requirements are consistently met.Beyond day-to-day coordination, youll contribute to key projects, internal engagement and communications on behalf of the CEO. Youll work closely with the Executive Team and lead the national PA working group to continuously improve how administrative support is delivered across Starlight.Your Skills & ExperienceYou are a highly organised and professional Executive Assistant with experience supporting senior leaders, ideally at CEO or C-suite level. Calm under pressure and naturally proactive, youre skilled at managing competing priorities with a solutions-focused mindset. You communicate clearly and confidently, maintain discretion at all times, and are energised by working in a collaborative, purpose-driven environment.Youll BringA relationship-first mindset you''re approachable, professional and confident managing access to the CEO with warmth and good judgement (youre a happy gatekeeper who knows how to balance priorities with people).Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks, deadlines and projects. You have great writing skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with board software (such as Diligent) or willingness to learn. You are tech savvy and interested in how tech can enable more of the human, you have already been using AI.Experience in supporting Board activities including minute-taking, travel, reporting and governance requirements.A collaborative and inclusive approach, with the ability to lead peer groups and drive administrative process improvements.Most importantly, you bring a professional, grounded presence and a strong sense of purpose aligned with Starlights mission.
