This position falls under our Corpay Domestic Payables division and is based out of Beaverton, OR. In this role, you will join a high performing self-organizing team responsible for implementing cloud-based solutions with Microsofts Azure Cloud Computing Technology. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of the Microsoft.NET technology stack, be a self-motivated, technically-adept, team player. Were seeking a creative and solutions-driven software developer with strong communication and collaboration skills. The ideal candidate takes pride in their craft and consistently delivers high-quality, maintainable code.How We WorkAs a Senior .NET Developer, you will join a fast-paced high performing team that works in a remote first environment. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:Company-issued equipmentFormal remote trainingRole ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities of the role will include:Providing technical direction, planning, and vision to development team members.As a lead developer on new projects, create, maintain, and own technical specifications, designs, and schedules with little direction from manager.Forge strong relationships across departments.Communicate development needs and interests to product team and others.Anticipate and act upon issues and problems that arise, providing alternative approaches and solutions.Architect and implement significant portions of code, leveraging work across more than one product.Seek out new tools and techniques to facilitate work.Insist on high quality in own work and that of others.Design and implement complex transaction control systems involving secure web application development and integrating with third party web services.Refactor and migrate legacy applications to distribute application architecture in Azure cloud.Lead by example.Minimum RequirementsQualifications & Skills5+ years of experience using C#, Azure and debugging techniques for developing ASP.Net Web API.Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science is a plus, but equivalent practical experiencesuch as developing two or more commercially deployed applicationsis highly valued.Experience building applications using .Net 6+.Support legacy .Net applications.Experience with database methodologies and database systems, including MS SQL Server and NoSQL.Knowledge of current software design practices, including modularity, event-driven architecture, object-oriented design, interface design, portability, extensibility, and testability.Has experience working in a Scrum / Agile development environment.Has effective/strong communication skills.Self-motivated and works with minimal supervision.Can write code with and without AI.Preferred QualificationsCloud Application Development.Experience with .Net Core, ASP.Net, Web APIs, Hosted Services, and Azure Functions.Experience working with Azure Service Bus or similar technologies.Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.Experience with PulumiExperience with Github CopilotExperience with Git and use of common branching strategies.Experience with Azure DevOps, knowledge of Pipelines is a plus.Experience integrating cutting edge technologies alongside legacy technologies.Experience using JavaScript, CSS, HTML5.Demonstrated team focus that drives you to forward-thinking process and solutions.Knowledge of security best practices.Benefits & PerksMedical, Dental & Vision benefits available the 1st month after hireAutomatic enrollment into our 401k plan (subject to eligibility requirements)Virtual fitness classes offered company-wideRobust PTO offerings including: major holidays, vacation, sick, personal, & volunteer timeEmployee discounts with major providers (i.e. wireless, gym, car rental, etc.)Philanthropic support with both local and national organizationsFun culture with company-wide contests and prizesOur Company & PurposeCorpay is a global leader in business payments, laser focused on developing smarter ways for businesses to pay their expenses.
