As a Senior Architect, spearhead the education nationally and work closely with the company Director you will be supported by a creative and collaborative team. This is a unique opportunity to grow your career as a senior project leader. You will take on a leadership role within the business, mentoring projects teams, developing and enabling colleagues, and working closely with your managers.You will be the key representative for the NSW practice, responsible for effective management on a variety of projects to ensure project milestones are delivered to the program specifications. Furthermore, you will lead the design, planning and execution of project tasks, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. Working within this role, you will also oversee project outcomes to ensure all work is reviewed and meets standard prior to handover.Project Management:Manage the delivery of projects from inception through to completion.Lead all streams of communication with client and their internal teams to discuss project objectives, budgets, and timelines.Liaise with engineers, contractors, and other consultants to coordinate design.Prepare the project plan, run project meetings to understand client requirements and provide updates to the client as necessary.Design and Planning:Lead the detailed design of new build and refurbishment, facilitating design reviews at critical phases.Conduct/facilitate document reviews to ensure internal QA standards are achieved.Client coordination and Communication:Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.Support Senior Associates and Associates in identifying and developing new business opportunities.Leadership and Development:Stay updated on new design software, tools and industry practices.Participate in continuing professional development opportunities to build the Education sector nationally leveraging the company expertise, existing capability and your own networkLooking for a company that can provide you with a leadership program and pathway?A competitive salary package depending on experience.A creative and supportive environment that values its people.A genuinely collaborative environment with low staff turnover.Realistic hours no excessive overtime.Long-term career prospects with a customised development program and pathway to Associate and beyond.Corporate team fitness events.Certified as a great place to work and has flexible work arrangements.Social clubs and events.What you need to succeed:Relevant Tertiary qualification, with a strong knowledge of contractual understanding; including applicable codes, laws such as NCC.Sector experience; education, health, industrial and complex buildsStrong project management experience, experience leading teams and managing resources.Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and ability to problem.Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and support senior leaders to identify and develop new business opportunities within the state.Are you seeking a company that can provide you with a leadership program and pathway?
