Additionally, you will be required to provide support to facilitate software purchases, maintenance renewals, compliance audits, and assist with technical issue resolution.As part of the Corporate and Enabling Group at DEWR, and work with the following pillars:We do the basics brilliantly.We provide expert advice and support.We engage effectively with each other and our stakeholders.We consider the bigger picture, connect the dots and focus on priorities.Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities Of The APS Level 6 May IncludeDrive strategic improvement of the Software Asset Management processes, tools and licence management governance.Leverage the various software and license management tools used by the software team, examples being FlexNet Manager Suite (FNMS) and Service Now, to produce reports (regularly or on request) and communicate results with recommendations to management.Manage the teams mailbox, supporting the team to respond in a timely manner to internal teams, client agencies and vendors, with the ability to identify and prioritise items needing responses with urgency.Be responsible of software full lifecycle including handling enquiries for new software, initiating license and maintenance purchases, licence key deployment, auditing usage and deployment levels, through to decommissioning of software through identifying and removing underutilised applications installed on user devices.Working with stakeholders such as the architecture, release and deployment teams to ensure fit-for-purpose software solutions are deployed to satisfy business requirements.How to ApplyApplicants are required to provide a summary (no more than 500 words) that outlines skills, knowledge, and experience and why you should be considered for this vacancy.
