The mine is located on the traditional land of the Kokatha people. Carrapateena produces copper concentrate and is one of the largest mining projects in South Australia in the last decade.Please note this position is based at Carrapateena, offered on a FIFO (from Adelaide) basis and operating on an 8/6 DAYS ONLY roster pattern arrangement.About The RoleWe currently have multiple roles available for qualified Project Electrical Technicians to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for executing a variety of Project Electrical activities within an operational mining and minerals processing environment. Your work will contribute to optimal production, equipment performance and availability, as well as improving reliability and ensuring that we are well placed for future growth within our operations.In This Role You WillComply to and consistently follow the standards and procedures designed to enable you to work safely and effectively every dayCarry out electrical work on a variety of new and existing projectsUtilise your electrical project and installation knowledge to execute daily tasksAssist in resolution of electrical issuesDevelop and revise project related procedures and work instructionsCommunicate project status to appropriate personnel and departmentsMaintain a high level of housekeeping in all work areasAbout YouProven commitment to look after your own wellbeing and the confidence to speak up when others put themselves in harms wayAustralian recognised Electrical Trade qualifications (essential)South Australian A-class Electrical Workers license, or ability to obtainExperience working in a similar role with exposure to Electrical project and installation work within an operational mining and minerals processing environmentC Class Manual Drivers Licence and experienceAbility to operate an Integrated Tool Carrier (IT), or willingness to learnWorking at Heights accreditation and experience, or willingness to learnGood understanding of interactions between mining and other site functions such as projects, construction, maintenance and processingExperience in design and installation of LV electrical reticulationAbility to develop Certificates of Compliance and other technical documents such as as-built drawingsIntermediate level of computer literacy (MS Office Suite of programs)APPLICATIONS CLOSE: Friday 27th June 2025 at Midnight SA TimeWe are a diverse team of trade professionals, offering rewarding work, safe work practices and above all an enjoyable work culture.
