We are the main provider of health services to people living in the inner southeast suburbs of Melbourne, from ambulatory to inpatient and home and community-based services. Fixed Term Position for 6 months Full Time at 80 hours per fortnight (Part Time applications are welcome) Managers and Administrative Worker Grade 4 (HS4-HS29) Alfred Health Locations The Department Alfred Health and Monash Health have established a formal partnership to deliver a Shared Pathology Service as one of three new pathology networks for metropolitan Melbourne. This partnership is aligned with the Victorian Governments Pathology system reform. The Pathology programs are working in partnership to ensure we meet the future demand and continue to provide high quality pathology services for the patients and community across the health services. In the Partnership, pathology services are provided from two main laboratories (The Alfred in Prahran and Monash Medical Centre in Clayton), and six branch laboratories (Casey Hospital, Dandenong Hospital, Moorabbin Hospital, Sandringham Hospital, Victorian Heart Hospital and Wonthaggi Hospital). In addition, there are 20 collection centres and rooms spread across South East Melbourne and South Gippsland, with the furthest one located in Yarram. The Position Summary The Business Analyst will be an Alfred Health appointment and report to the Specimen Tracking Application Project manager. The position will work in close collaboration with the Shared LIS Pathology Project team. This is a priority project for Alfred Health and Monash Health, which relies on the delivery of other digital transformation projects beyond the LIS to be successful.
