Veritas currently delivers services in Permanency Support (formerly known as OOHC), Youth Specialist Homelessness Services (SHS), Case Work Support Service (CWSS), Targeted Earlier Intervention (TEI), Homeless Youth Assistance Program (HYAP), Supported Independent Living (SIL), Interim Care (IC), Premiers Youth Initiative (PYI) and Trauma-Informed Individual Placement and Support (TI-IPS). Our team of skilled clinicians and support workers have a passion for working with some of the most disadvantaged people in our region, aiming to contribute to the creation of a socially just and caring community in which every person is safe, secure and valued.VHSS seeks to find ways to make these services accessible to vulnerable community members, working collaboratively with funders and other community organisations to breakdown barriers to access whenever possible.The goal of VHSS is to empower and enhance mental health and well-being, fostering stronger families and communities together.We are looking to welcome several new board members to our well-established, committed, and inclusive board who will provide effective stewardship in accordance with the VHSS vision and aspirations. The professionals we are seeking will be experienced in the areas of Allied Health, Welfare, Housing and Business.For as long as I can remember, Veritas House has held a pretty special place in our community. The children, young people and families Veritas supports can often be some of the most vulnerable, and they deserve the care and support Veritas House has delivered for so long. When the opportunity to be a part of that came along, I had to jump at it. My role is the Clinical and Consultation Services Manager, but really what that means is I manage our clinical team.
