Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay rangeA$90,000.00/yr - A$100,000.00/yrThe OrganisationThis is a high-growth consumer goods business with a global reachwho have built a strong name for themselves across the industry. The business is scaling fast, and as they gear up for their next phase, theyre now looking to bring in a Purchasing Specialist, a key operational rolefor the supply chain function.The OpportunitySitting within a small and fast-moving supply chain team, the Purchasing Specialist will take ownership of the end-to-end purchasing process. Youll manage all aspects of product movement from purchase order through to delivery, working closely with third-party partners, international suppliers and internal stakeholders to keep things running smoothly. This roles not just about managing the workflow, its also about building relationships with suppliers, and with internal departments. Youll be expected to identify and drive cost and efficiency improvements, improve systems and processes, and provide better visibility of purchasing across the business. Theres also a leadership component, with a Purchasing Officer reporting into the role.Key areas of focus include:Overseeing global purchasing and order management activityEnsuring timelines are met across production, logistics, and 3PLDriving efficiencies in cost, stock movement, and supplier performanceConsolidating POs and managing compliance documentationSkills and Experience RequiredTo thrive in this role, youll need at least 3 years experience in a purchasing, buying or supply chain coordination type role. Youll be someone who brings structure and follow-through, without getting caught up in process.
