Our divesity helps us provide the best support possible to carers, families, children and young people and all of our external stakeholders.A little about the roleIn this newly created role, the Operations Manager (Specialist Services) will lead specialist services across South Australia including carer and kinship assessments, retention, therapy, and mentor support ensuring culturally responsive, high-quality service delivery.The role also drives key initiatives such as VR, the Mentor Program, and practice improvements aligned with Key Assets strategic priorities, working closely with the KAASA Social Work Team to strengthen outcomes for families.Further responsibilities include:Representing Key Assets Australia, South Australia (KAASA) in external forums, meetings, and Department for Child Protection (DCP) planning forumServing as a member of the South Australian Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and co-chair the Operational Leadership Group (OLG); deputise for the Assistant Director when requiredWorking closely with the Assistant Director and State Director to enhance carer recruitment and retention strategies, workforce models, and operational effectivenessCollaborating with internal and external stakeholders to enhance outcomes for children, young people, and carer families including CARU and DCPLeading or contribute to service development projects, policy and procedure creation, tender submissions, and implementation of new practice frameworksThe base salary for this position is $124,840 - $129,756 per annum + super + vehicle & fuel card + salary packaging options up to $15,900 per annum.This position is a full-time, ongoing opportunity.About youTo be successful in this role, youll come with:Social Work, Psychology, Counselling or other relevant recognised QualificationsA minimum of 5+years'' experience working with and/or on behalf of children, young people and families at a management levelDemonstrated leadership experience supporting teams with a range of matters throughout the employee lifecycleTenacity, diligence and resilience - with the ability to adopt a creative approach to problem solving in a fast-paced environment.My Key AssetsThe health and wellbeing of our people is at the core of our employee and client experience.
