Alder is currently expanding our team in Ballina and we are looking to recruit an experienced Site Manager. Ballina Shire is located in the Northern Rivers region of NSW. It is home to some of the most beautiful uncrowded beaches and national parks and you''ll find plenty of opportunities to get out and enjoy all things nature when you live in Ballina.The successful candidate will be working on a diverse range of commercial construction projects ranging from $5m - $30m across Northern NSW This is a full-time position which requires a high calibre individual with a strong track record of On-Site experience.About The RoleBeing part of our NNSW team, working on commercial construction projects between Ballina and Tweed Headsconducting site inspections to ensure quality and safety outcomesBe responsible for co-ordinating trades onsiteEnsure projects are completed on time, within budget and to our high standardsCo-ordinate the relationships between various trades and ensure that sub-contractors carry work out safely and efficientlyLiaise with clients and stakeholders in a professional manner to maintain Alder''s strong reputationEnsure projects are completed on time, within budget and to our high standardsParticipate in regular WHS inspections and injury/incident investigations and maintain a healthy and safe work environmentEnsure environmental controls are suitable and implemented, monitored and reviewed.Review, understand and have input to all subcontractor and supplier scope of works.Organise completion of defect works in a timely manner.Participate in lesson learnt sessions to continuously improve the performance of the overall company teamAbout You - Skills And Experience5+ years experience in a similar roleRelevant trade background and competenciesExcellent communication skills - both oral and writtenWillingness to lead and motivate team membersA person who is enthusiastic, self-motivated and quality drivenBe able to work collaboratively in a team environmentCommitment and understanding of the importance of time and financial goalsGood computer/ mobile device skills for daily use of Programs & Apps (e.g. Procore)About The BusinessIf you are looking for a role which is exciting, offers stability and allows you to have exposure to different projects then this could be the role for you!
