They have a reputation for delivering innovative, client-focused solutions that get the job done across the Renewable and T&D sectors.The General Manager is responsible for leading and managing all engineering and technical aspects of energy projects, ensuring high-quality solutions and project delivery.On a day to day basis, you would be expected to:Oversee the entire lifecycle of energy projects, from concept to execution, including technical specifications, scheduling and project management.Lead, mentor and develop a team of 55 engineers, designers and technical staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.Maintain a high-level of technical expertise in relevant energy technologies, including renewable energy and energy storage.Ensure that all projects meet technical best practices and deliver on quality, safety, and performance standards.Oversee the division''s P+L, managing the budget performance, contract negotiation and financial aspects of Engineering projects.Continuous development and servicing of current clients in the business across Utilities and Developers.As the successful applicant, you will have:Demonstrated ability to lead a team that delivers high-quality, stakeholder focused, and profitable business outcomes.Extensive experience in managing complex engineering projects, ideally in the energy sector.Demonstrable achievement of sustainable growth targets, driving business expansion, and securing long-term success.Expertise in relevant energy technologies and engineering principles.Extensive experience in the Energy industry, demonstrating expertise and in-depth knowledge of the sector.Proven expertise in an EPC, with a deep understanding of constructable design.You will be a values-driven leader, with a passion for developing high functioning teams and be recognised in the industry as a strong or emerging leader, with a strong network to leverage, attract and drive business and strategic goals. You will be a strong mentor for staff members, fostering a high-performance culture. Your expertise will also include financial management and performance for a business unit.This opportunity is based in Adelaide.
