We are hiring for the 2025 season! Contractor Services, Inc. (CSI) is a traffic control company based in North Platte, Nebraska. Our service area includes central Nebraska, the panhandle, and eastern Colorado. CSI provides traffic control services, roadway and airport pavement marking, pavement marking removals, temporary barrier rail, temporary signals, message boards, and other smart zone equipment. CSI is a fast-growing company looking for employees who are ready to grow with us. Safety is the most important part of a construction project. CSI employees will help create a safe work zone by installing traffic control devices on roadway construction projects. We need Construction Surveillance Technicians in the following area: Sidney, NE Job Types: Full-timePart-time Benefits include: 401(k) and matching Dental insurance Employee assistance program Flexible spending account Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: 12-hour shifts 8-hour shifts Monday to Friday Overtime as needed License/Certification: Driver''s License (Required) Work Location: In person Position Responsibilities: Positioning and maintaining traffic control devices on roadway construction projects. Setting up, moving, and re-positioning traffic control devices. Conducting hourly checks of device placement within the work zone. No prior experience is required; training will be provided in classroom and on-the-job settings. Abilities/Skills: Follow safety procedures outlined in the Safety handbook. Must be at least 18 years old. Maintain a clean driving record. Professional conduct with co-workers and the public. Ability to work away from home and outdoors in all weather conditions. Work overtime as needed. Lift 80+ lbs. Good communication skills. Willingness to learn; training provided. This position requires strict adherence to safety protocols, as work involves proximity to traffic and other contractors. PPE such as a hard hat, safety vest, eye protection, and gloves is mandatory.
