It began at five Logan schools identified by Education Queensland as being ''most in need'' of a breakfast program. Our goal is to give students the best chance to succeed academically and develop healthy eating habits.YMCA Schools Breakfast Program is recruiting a dedicated Delivery Driver and Warehouse Assistant to join our diverse team on a Casual basis (up to 22 hours per week on school days) in Kingston.About The RoleAre you a reliable, safety-conscious driver who enjoys being on the road and making a community impact? Join us as a Delivery Driver and Warehouse Assistant, playing a key role in providing essential delivery services to Y Schools across Southeast Queensland.What will my time look like?Operate a two-pallet refrigerated truck (truck licence not required)Deliver food supplies to schoolsPerform manual tasks such as lifting, stacking, packing, and loadingCollect food donations from donors, as neededAssist with general warehouse dutiesSupport food quality control checks and related administrative tasksManage and guide warehouse volunteers, students, and visitorsAm I a good match?Experience in roles involving high-volume drivingAvailability for flexible start times from 7amShifts ranging from 4 to 7.5 hoursAbility to work Monday to Friday; no weekend workNo work available during school holidays due to the program''s natureGood communication, administrative, and numeracy skillsOpen manual and automatic drivers licenses, including a 3-pallet truckCurrent Positive Notice Blue Card or willingness to obtain oneCurrent National Police Check or willingness to obtain oneFlexibility to swap and take additional shifts as requiredWhats in it for you?Joining our team allows you to make a meaningful community impact and support young people, which motivates us to excel.
