We''re in search of caring individuals to join us as a Care Support Workers at the MSWA''s Treendale Gardens Residential Respite Facility on a casual basis.Our facility provides housing for residents with various neurological conditions, and a respite centre where clients can come to visit to enjoy a break in the south-west.We prioritise residents'' privacy while promoting social interaction in communal areas, creating a welcoming and homely environment integrated with the local community.As a Care Support Worker, your core activities will include:Providing essential personal care such as bathing and dressing to promote residents'' health and well-being.Assisting with medication administration to ensure residents'' medical requirements are met effectively.Undertaking household chores such as meal service and cleaning, contributing to residents'' comfort and environment.Organising and facilitating social activities and outings to encourage community engagement and interaction among residents.Following individualised care plans to address the specific needs and goals of each resident.If you''re passionate about making a difference, this role not only impacts the lives of those with neurological conditions but also enriches your own.RequirementsNDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)Availability for morning, afternoon, and overnight shifts (to be negotiated)Preferred Qualifications:Current Australian C Class Drivers Licence without restrictionsFirst Aid certificate issued within the last 12 months (assistance provided if needed)Previous experience in a care support rolePositive attitudeCertificate III in a relevant disciplineA Little About UsWe exist to make a real and lasting difference to the lives of Western Australians - whatever their needs, whatever their neuro condition.
