This will include managing individual or small groups of students under the direction of the teacher that will help in the development of young minds and support the general health and wellbeing of students. You will work in a collaborative environment to provide support for students in the classroom. Special Needs Education Assistants will work alongside teachers to ensure the implementation of the school business plan and priorities using the agreed programs and strategies.Suitable applicants should be be caring, proactive, and responsive, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as possess good written and oral communication skills to enable the implementation of individual or small group-based programs. The ability to work with a range of age groups and special needs including diagnosed and imputed disabilities is highly desirable.
