We look to hire the best and then help you to become even better.We are looking for an experienced Field Service Technician to join our team specialising in engine repairs and maintenance. This is an on-site position for our Dawsons Mine site, camp accommodation & meals provided on shift. Requiring to be on site at the Dawson Mine Site directly representing Cummins.In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:Deliver a first-class service to our mining customer at Dawsons mine siteComplete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products and attend to breakdowns in the workshop and fieldDiagnose and repair enginesInspect and replace components as requiredEngine rebuilding and reconditioningComplete required documentationWorking on and maintaining OEMs Komatsu 830Es Fleet, Fleet of Excavators, Drill Fleet, Hitachi and moreResponsibilitiesTo be successful in this role, you will need the following:Relevant Heavy Diesel trade qualification - Heavy Vehicle Mechanic/Plant Mechanic or Diesel Fitter (to Australian standards)Experience as a Diesel Mechanic in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel products, mining equipment, power generation on engines and similar applications is preferred (ideally with an OEM)QualificationsNote: This role has a 7 on / 7 off roster, 12 hours per shift.
