Contribute to delivering on ASIC''s purpose, vision, and strategic priorities to help maintain the integrity of the financial system and protect consumers from harm.Sydney/Melbourne/Canberra (other locations considered)From $126,716 - $140,180 (depending on experience) + 15.4% superannuation24 Month Fixed Term ContractApplications close: 19 June 2025.The teamThe Digital, Data & Technology (DD&T) group drives transformational change and key technology services across ASIC, including IT, Cyber Security, Data, Digital, Portfolio Office, and Registry Connect (modernising business registers). The DD&T Portfolio Office ensures strategic delivery through governance, facilitation, assurance, reporting, and capability uplift in change and project management.The roleIn this role, you will lead and embed risk and assurance practices across the full delivery spectrum of project, program, and portfolio. Working in close partnership with Program and Project Managers, you''ll provide expert guidance, facilitate independent reviews, and ensure alignment with ASIC''s enterprise risk and governance frameworks.You''ll also engage directly with senior stakeholders, including the Executive Committee, Commission and key risk forums, delivering clear, actionable insights and driving continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities IncludeDeveloping and executing a portfolio wide risk and assurance planConducting complexity assessments and assurance reviews across projects and programsFacilitating risk workshops and coaching delivery teamsProviding high quality risk reporting and analysis to senior governance forumsLiaising with the Chief Risk Office to ensure strategic alignmentPromoting risk maturity uplift through knowledge sharing and process improvementsAbout YouYou will bring demonstrated deep experience in project, program and portfolio level risk management and assurance, with proven ability to influence and support senior stakeholders. Strong knowledge of frameworks and qualifications in PRINCE2, PMBOK, Agile and MSP will be highly regarded.Other Skills Will IncludeAdvanced written and verbal communication, capable of conveying complex analysis across all levelsProficiency in analysis and presentation tools (Microsoft suite, Power BI)Strong project risk management, collaborating with Project Managers and delivering Centre of Excellence'' servicesExperience in onboarding, coaching Project Managers in Risk and Assurance, and governance reportingEffective leadership and coaching skills, driving positive influence and resultsStrong organisational and time management, balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication with technical expertise; experienced in data visualisation for reportingRelevant tertiary qualificationView the position description for more information or click apply'' to start your application.Applications close at 11:59pm AEST, 19 June 2025About ASICASIC''s remit is one of the broadest of regulators across the world.
