Location: Aqua Energy and Seasonal PoolsEmployment type: Casual/VacationPosition No. 767Multiple casual positions available from September 2025Band 3 - $41.34 per hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading) plus 12%statutory superannuation if applicable (junior rates apply if under 21)Wellington Shire Council is seeking friendly,reliable individuals to join our team as Customer Service Officers(Lifeguards). These casual positions will be at our newly refurbished AquaEnergy Leisure Centre in Sale opening later in the year. You will also beavailable to work at our indoor and outdoor pool facilities in Sale, Heyfield,Maffra, Rosedale, Stratford, and Yarram.You will be part of a supportive team that helps create a safe,welcoming, and enjoyable experience for everyone who visits our pools. Whetheryou are monitoring the water, assisting visitors, or ensuring everything runssmoothly, you will play an important role in the daily operations of ourcommunity facilities.We are looking for individuals who:Have strong communication andcustomer service skillsWork effectively as part of a teamCan engage confidently with people ofall ages and backgroundsRemain calm under pressure and arefocused on safetyTake pride in maintaining a clean,safe, and professional environmentIf you are seeking a role that offers variety, flexibility, and theopportunity to contribute to your local community, we would like to hear fromyou.Work hours may include early mornings, evenings, after school, andweekends.To be rostered for shifts, you will need to obtain and maintain thefollowing:Pool Lifeguard CertificateLevel 2 First AidCardiopulmonary ResuscitationCertificateWorking with Children Check (if youare 18 years of age or older)(If you do not currently hold all of the required qualifications, youmay still apply.
