Sponsorship Lead Brand & Customer ExperienceJoin to apply for the Sponsorship Lead Brand & Customer Experience role at Suncorp GroupSponsorship Lead Brand & Customer Experience3 days ago Be among the first 25 applicantsJoin to apply for the Sponsorship Lead Brand & Customer Experience role at Suncorp GroupGet AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.About The RoleContribute to strengthening and differentiating the Groups mass and niche brands through innovative external sponsor partnerships and engagement strategies that support the business by delivering:Reach and exposure in priority markets, brand consideration, appeal, and competitor blocking and differentiationAttract and deepen relationships through integrated brand engagement and experiences.Location: Sydney, Melbourne, or BrisbaneMore Specifically You WillContribute to the delivery of the brand/s sponsorship and community portfolio, executing best in class sponsorship activity and leverage partnerships to maximise ROI for our brands and business.Achieve agreed business outcomes through strong brand alignment to the sponsorship and community portfolio.Contribute to optimum leverage from sponsorship portfolio through operational excellence in innovation, planning, delivery, and measurement.Drive strong working relationships with BCX peers, internal stakeholders, and agency partners.Maintain understanding of customer needs, behavior, and passions across priority segments.Develop sponsorship-related experiences for innovative customer experiences to support channels and brand differentiation.Manage marketing and leverage activity across channels with sponsorship partners, community, and third-party providers.Influence brand marketing stakeholders to implement sponsorship opportunities and experiences aligned with brand propositions and campaigns.Plan and manage activations across media and events, including event response when required.Engage with and adopt sponsorship and community measurement frameworks, manage reporting, and share results and learnings.Input into ongoing planning and review of the sponsorship & community strategy to identify opportunities, gaps, overlaps, and divestment strategies.Support commercial negotiations with external partners to secure opportunities at fair value and benefits, maintaining the groups reputation.Lead and support the implementation of contractual benefits and campaign deliverables.Maintain insights into brands and customer behavior to optimize engagement.Manage external partners and agencies to deliver sponsorship measurement programs.Oversee sponsorship and community budget planning, invoice processing, and monthly forecasting.Collaborate with marketing peers to elevate and communicate the value of the sponsorship portfolio.Ensure compliance with governance, legal, data, and risk management processes.Contribute to written and verbal sponsorship strategies for stakeholders and senior management.Respond to sponsorship requests as needed.Apply test & learn methodologies for measurement and optimization.Leverage research and intelligence to keep activities innovative and customer-focused.Support sponsorship planning, including annual cycles and marketing needs.Develop and present post-implementation reports to stakeholders.Coordinate with brand managers and teams to deliver market-leading sponsorship programs across channels.Lead and support on event response campaigns related to weather or natural hazards.Role model Suncorp behaviors and code of conduct.About You8+ years experience in sponsorship management, marketing, and media, preferably within financial services.Extensive experience in negotiation, strategy development, and partnership management.Experience dealing with senior executives and managing relationships.Proven success in managing marketing strategies across media channels.Experience managing campaigns, media partnerships, and branded integrations.Leadership experience within complex environments.Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and workstreams simultaneously.Key CapabilitiesStrong knowledge of brand strategy, marketing principles, and sponsorships.Strategic and conceptual thinking skills.Excellent negotiation skills.Ability to build relationships, align stakeholders, and motivate teams.Financial acumen and ability to generate ROI.Experience managing budgets and forecasts.What We Can Offer YouDiscounts on insurance products.Flexible working, leave options, and parental leave benefits.Ongoing study support and career development.Community engagement programs and volunteer leave.Employee assistance programs and employee council involvement.We are committed to diversity and inclusion, creating a culture where everyone feels valued and connected.Additional DetailsSeniority level: Not ApplicableEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: OtherIndustries: Financial Services and Insurance #J-18808-Ljbffr
