Youll investigate defects onsite, carry out minor repair works yourself, and coordinate trades when needed. Your strong communication skills will be key in educating homeowners, managing expectations, and ensuring every claim is closed out efficiently and professionally.Key ResponsibilitiesAttend customer homes to assess warranty claims and conduct thorough onsite investigationsAccurately document findings, including written notes and photographic evidenceComplete hands-on minor repair and maintenance tasks (handyman-style work)Coordinate and engage trades where required especially for cost efficiency or specialist workLiaise directly with homeowners, explaining findings and educating them on building standards and responsibilitiesManage claims from start to finish, with administrative support providedParticipate in regular workflow meetings with the Technical Manager to track claim progressTake ownership to progress claims, ensuring momentum is maintained and timelines are metThe successful applicant will have:Solid background in residential construction, carpentry, maintenance, or warranty workAbility to diagnose and resolve common post-construction issuesPractical, hands-on skills with a can-do attitudeExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsOrganised and proactive approach to managing multiple jobs and prioritiesStrong understanding of building codes and acceptable tolerancesComfortable using digital tools (tablet, apps, photos, etc.) for reporting and documentationUnencumbered drivers license and own tools (vehicle provided)Ability to work autonomously.How to ApplyWe are interested in speaking with highly motivated, results focused individuals who can hit the ground running, with the energy and commitment required for this role.
