An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Medical Receptionist in a well-established Mental Health Practice.We have a part time position available, and are looking for someone that is proactive, friendly and agile.NeuroCentrix is a private neuroscience facility dedicated to evidence-based assessment, treatment and research of memory and mood disorders. We have a reputation for providing the highest quality patient care whilst working within a friendly and supportive team environment. NeuroCentrix offers private consulting, memory and mood clinics, research Trials, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and esketamine treatments.As a key member of this team, you''ll liaise between patients, psychiatrists, psychologists, TMS Clinicians and third-party stakeholders to organise and monitor all administrative requirements for the Clinic.Clinic times, 8am - 6pm, Monday to Friday.At the moment, this role has a requirement of 3 - 4 days per week.Key duties and responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):Attending to incoming telephone calls, greeting patients and assisting patients with general enquiries;Register new patients attending the clinic and maintain/update all records;Create, cancel, or reschedule appointments for clients;Processing patient billing and receipting for Medicare, private health insurers, DVA, Workcover and TAC, updating patient files, typing of basic medical correspondence;Diary management for psychiatrists and psychologists.Position characteristics:Experience working as a medical receptionist or similar within a medical practice preferred.Previous experience using medical software (eg Clinic2Cloud) would be desirable.Understanding and experience in billing Medicare, private health insurers, DVA, Workcover, TAC, claims and accounts.Experience within the mental health field is desirable.Outstanding customer service skills and an enthusiastic and positive ''can do'' attitude.Well organised and able to work well under pressure.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Meticulous attention to detail and problem-solving skills.How to apply:Please attach a cover letter to your resume and only apply through the Seek platform.Due to the volume of applications we will only be able to respond to shortlisted candidates.Unlock job insightsSalary match Number of applicants Skills matchYour application will include the following questions:How many years'' experience do you have as a medical receptionist?
